Dota 2 commentator Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov said Team Yandex’s victory over PARIVISION in the BLAST SLAM VIII playoffs was important. In a post on his personal Telegram channel, he also singled out the series’ third map.
Maelstorm described the map as especially enjoyable to watch and said it was hard-fought. He also connected the importance of Yandex’s win to Team Spirit’s defeat.
Arman “Malady” Orazbayev speculated that Team Yandex and PARIVISION could meet again at the tournament, this time in the grand final, to contest the title.
